As the son of an entrepreneur and educator, Steven learned early the value of discipline, service, and integrity. These principles have guided him throughout his professional career and remain at the core of his legal practice.

Steven attended Southwest Texas State University, where he earned his undergraduate degree before embarking on a successful career in the insurance industry. For more than fifteen years, he worked as both an insurance adjuster and insurance agent, gaining firsthand experience in claims investigation, coverage analysis, risk management, and the challenges policyholders face when navigating the insurance process. This extensive industry background gives him a unique perspective that few attorneys possess, allowing him to anticipate issues, evaluate claims effectively, and provide practical solutions for his clients.

Driven by a desire to continue helping others and serve as a stronger advocate, Steven pursued a legal education at Texas Southern University's Thurgood Marshall School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor in December 2023. His transition from the insurance industry to the practice of law was a natural progression-combining decades of experience with a passion for protecting the interests of individuals and businesses facing difficult legal challenges.
